2008 Halloween Bash
The Irish Times Pub hauntingly invites you to their annual Halloween Bash on Friday, October 31st. DJ will start at 9 p.m. No cover charge.
Stop in for the Costume Judging Contest for a chance to win a large flat screen LCD TV and other brilliant prizes around Midnight! Contestants will be judged for Best Individual Costume, Best Couples Costume, and Best Homemade Costume. Food and drink specials will also be available.
Note: The Irish Times will be participating in the annual Monsters on Main Street held on Saturday, October 25th from 12 Noon to 3 p.m.
November 8th Irish Pub Meet Up
On Saturday, November 8th, 2008 the Chicago Irish Pub Music Meet Up Group will be at Irish Times starting at
8 p.m. Come on out for Irish music by Paddy Homan and Friends. There is a chance to visit with old friends and an opportunity to meet new ones!

Notre Dame Wins Again
The weather could have not been more perfect on Saturday, October 4th when a certain group left Irish Times that morning to travel a couple hours away to see Notre Dame beat Stanford 28-21 that afternoon. The ND Marching Band was in full swing from the very first beat all the way to the final touch down.

November 6th - Live Jazz Event
The Brookfield Jazz Society will feature live jazz in the Cottage on Thursday, November 6th featuring music by Jeru. This group recreates the music of the legendary Gerry Mulligan Quartets, as well as playing their own compositions in this style.
For this event, there is a suggested band collection donation of $5 per person for BJS members (with membership card); non-BJS members will be charged a cover charge of $5 at the door. All monies raised go to the band.
