St. Patrick's Day CelebrationThe wait is finally over... the 2008 St. Patrick's Day Celebration photos are now online for all to see! The top 295 pictures are available in the latest and greatest image gallery Irish Times has to offer. This event sets a new record for pictures taken and pictures posted, which was previously held during the Annual Oyster Festival. Enjoy the pictures and feel free to provide feedback via the Contact Form. 2008 St. Patrick's Day Celebration A word of thanks to all of the staff that worked on that faithful day and to everyone that came out over the weekend and choose the Irish Times as their very own place to celebrate the day. Third Anniversary PartyOn Thursday, March 20th the Brookfield Jazz Society marked its Third Anniversary with a celebration second to none. A great band, the Salty Dogs Jazz Band, was complimented with great food provided by Irish Times and sponsored by Berthel Lewis Electric and The Golden Age along with a special awards ceremony to start off the evening. Raffle prizes for the night were provided by Berthel Lewis Electric, Sotish, Network XXIII, and the Irish Times. The awards were given to a select few individuals that over the past three years have contributed to the Society to make it what it is known as today. Their efforts reflect what the Society is all about and were recognized as such by Ian Tiele, Brookfield Jazz Society President and Lee Goode, Brookfield Jazz Society Vice President. Wedding of the YearOn a brisk day in the latter part of January, two people came together as one couple and held an event that will be talked about for years to come. In the Beer GardenThe time has come to start thinking about Spring (even if Mother Nature has her own ways).
